This week has been amazing. God’s so stinkin’ good, I can’t begin to describe it.
To start, Sunday was so much fun. What else could be more fun than getting to worship Jesus, hang out with good friends, take a nap, and watch The Walking Dead, all in one day? The answer is nothing.
Then, Monday, we planned out Easter at Next Level. Let me tell you, we’ve got some tricks up our sleeves that will blow. your. MIND. I left the office, went home for a bit, then headed to my Next Level group with some of my new best friends.
Let’s pause here. My Next Level group is the best one at Next Level. Sorry y’all, I know you probably think yours is the best, but just to give you a taste of why ours is, we had gourmet cupcakes. Let that sink in.
Then, Tuesday, I finished last minute details for Next Level Students and rested up before the big day.
Then, yesterday, the big day came. After a month and a half of preparation, building, and praying, we finally kicked off Next Level Students. This was huge. We had 21 students on our first night. Twenty. One. Students. HOLY WOW. It blew my mind. I couldn’t help but cry tears of joy after we left the parking lot, thanking God for being so gracious and loving to let me hang out with 21 teenagers.
And then we come to today, Thursday. By the time I got into the office, my Facebook Messenger app was blowing up, thanks to Scott. He, Jeremy, and I have been searching for about a month for a place to rent by April 1st, and we found out today that our first choice house was pretty much ours! All we have to do is submit the applications and, once they process, the place is ours.
Even better, we’ll be living near our good friends Stephen and Laura Smark.
It’s been an incredible week. God has been so good, and I’m so overjoyed at what He’s doing.
What cool things has God been doing in your life this week?
